People now are more aware of using the medicinal herbal as anti-cancer remedies and to cure and treat cancerous illnesses. Many of them started herb gardening by planting herbs at home backyard or in pot. The useful herbs could preserve for future usage, it brightens up your garden, not only to stay green also to keep in good health.
Cancer is scary illnesses, some maybe “scared to death” once diagnosed with cancer that including myself. In my collection of medicinal healing herbs, today's post is something about this wild fruit....many years back, I used this “Giant wild Detox Fruit" that I bought from the medicinal herbs seller. I was first doubtful about this unknown name kind of wild fruit. As told by her, this is the locally planted wild fruit for lymph cleanses, and detoxifying fruit for skin diseases and lymphatic problem or tumor.
The name of this Giant Fruit is called “Wu Hua Guo” 无花果 in Chinese, but it is also known as “Giant Lo Han Guo” 大罗汉果 in Chinese name. Scientific name unknown....indigenous people name it as “Detox Fruit”.
I can’t imagine why the name is given as the “Giant Lo Han Gou” 大罗汉果. As the normal size of the common "Lo Han Guo"罗汉果, Siraitia grosvenori or Momordica grosvenori is 50 times smaller than this "Wild Detox fruit". According to my research, this wild fruit is an alternative traditional medicinal fruit as anticancer fruit for various ailments.

No doubt that’s quite a risky way to drink or eating any unknown wild fruit for natural healing. Some of the herbs may look quite similar, it is best to identify those anticancer herbs in advance, first is to seek further research for more information from the traditional herbal healing books, whether it is nontoxic or safe before consuming it.
Wild Detox Fruit ~ Wu Hua Guo 无花果
This Giant "wild detox fruit" ~ Wu Hua Guo 无花果 has the anticancer and antioxidant medicinal properties to treat various ailments such as malignant lymphoma, enlarge thyroid and goiter. It also help reduce swelling or enlarged glands or lymph nodes problem. Enlarged or swollen lymph node under the ear near the jaw joint may consider trying this detox fruit herbal soup. This miracle fruit can be used as laxative, antitussive, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic. - Use of its fresh leaves and bark together with its fresh pulp to cook with lean meat and Goji as herbal soup, which is good for treating hypertension, as it is high in mineral, thiamine and calcium and other useful nutrients to human health.
I was grateful through the recommendation from the native herbal seller. Previously this detox fruit is not easy to find, now it is much easier to get it. Still many people dare not take the risk to try it. As told by the seller, this is good detox fruit for my neck’s enlarged lymph node which is hardened due to lymph stagnation problem. I just can’t be bothered so much…and occasionally I will buy and cook it, and taking this wild fruit herbal soup in the prevention of having lymph gland swell and for lymph cleanse.
Detoxification in progress and reaction:
So far so good, from my first experience, after I drank this herbal soup, some reaction and feeling of uncomfortable…tingling sensation with some tendency of itching sensation, but very mild and it disappeared after a few frequent urination. Preparation for “Giant Wu Hua Guo” or Wild Detox Fruit Herbal Soup
It is not easy to cut open the hard shell. The skin of the fruit is hard like rock…You may need a hacksaw to open it. LOL....It really need a lot of strength to open it.
- Inside the flesh of this fruit is spongy in texture,
- white in color, and the outer layer of the flesh has a very thin layer of black color skin attached with.
- To prepare, by lightly rinse to wash the flesh, remove the hard shell,
- cut the spongy-flesh into smaller pieces.
- Cook it with a big pot of water for about 3 hours.
At first, in the pot it appears with clean water and fruit, but after 20 minutes of cooking, it turns out with some bubbles on top. Within 30 minutes of cooking, the whole pot of water changed into black color water.
It is amazing. This herbal soup has very nice aromatic smell like "Lo Han Gou", no wonder it is named as “Lo Han Guo”.The taste is slightly sour and natural sweet taste. This herbal soup is cooling; it helps to expel heat from the body. Alternative medicinal fruit detox for Edema syndrome such as Lymphoedema and thyroid problem.
Lymphatic System
Our body is made up about 70% of water. The fluid in the lymph vessels is called lymph. Lymph system is consisting of lymph nodes, lymph vessels, lymph capillaries, and ducts. It transports of water or clear fluid that’s know as Lymph.The important of the Lymphatic System and Drainage is actually as important in any other part of human organs especially in detoxification of toxins from our body.
When the lymphatic system of the human body is blocked or sluggish, this will cause the stagnation of poor circulation flow of fluid, and accumulated or overloaded with toxins, if an immune response or immune functions is in defending to against the infections, this stimulating can causes the painful and swell lymph nodes, when the lymph node is palpable, that is the sign of infection or disease.
When the toxins is accumulated in the body tissue for too long, chronic swelling to the lymph nodes will also happen, the stagnation can cause harden or swelling lymph nodes, in long term it may cause Lymphoma, but not all swollen lymph is tumors or cancerous tissue. However, many swollen lymph nodes may not be Lymphoma, and it is just the infection of the lymph nodes, and that may be earlier stage of lymphoma if not treated. This is scary thought.
The lymphatic system is human body's important defense system; the lymphatic system can make the white blood cell and the immune body, filters out the pathogen.
Many illnesses can be caused by poor lymph flow and stagnation. It can damaged and disturb the circulation flow and causes lymph nodes swell and water retention as well. More common, it cause the cellulite due to poor circulation of lymphatic flow.
The reason why I posted this wild Detox Fruit, this is as good as the blood purifier and detoxifying fruit. In alternative natural healing, they are many herbs and wild fruits alternatively can be used to treat the lymph diseases, and traditionally used for anticancer. This is from my personal experience, I found some of the local herbs and wild fruit has the great effect, which can really treat the lymph problem. Especially this wild "Detox fruit" has the alternative approach with radio-protective compounds, after radiotherapy or chemotherapy, or positively interacts as post-cancer treatment which helps to reduce the ill-effect, its antioxidant compounds help to boost the immune system.
As the lymphatic system needs drainage to detoxify, and get rid of harmful substances to protect against toxins. Whereby the alternative healing ways of detoxifying the body can be done by fasting with juice detox, rebound exercises, Yoga breathing, skin dry brushing, and massage such as Manual Lymphatic Drainage(MLD). MLD is in form of gentle upward strokes technique massage to encourage the stimulating of the lymph flows into the lymph capillaries, using herbs tea flushing and so on. Intakes of kelp and seaweed may boost and enhances metabolism to the lymph glands.

This is my method of using Alternative Natural healing with herbs, fruit flush, MDL, Energy Meridian massage healing for Lymphatic disease or syndrome.
- Taking raw herbs, fruits and vegetables juice for detox flushing, varieties from Sabah Snake grass, or Clinacanthus Nutans herb extract apple juice.
- Juice Flush ~ Beetroot and bitter guard juice, the blood and liver tonic and purifier. Burdock with carrot juice, Burdock is natural anti-biotic, anti-fungal, blood purifier and it is idea for lymph cleanses herb plant in detoxification.
- Taking raw herbs like Chuan Xin Lian, 穿心莲, Andrographis paniculata is wild medicinal herbs is good for detoxify the lymph, this is the natural antibiotic, and has anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal active properties for pharyngotonsillitis, the presence of lymph node enlargement along with sore throat and infection, just simmer this herb with hot water, or make it into herbal capsule for easy consumption.
Chuan Xin Lian, 穿心莲, Andrographis paniculata is the wild herbal grass, also known as
"king of bitter herb" with powerful anticancer and anti-inflammatory for the throat, neck, lymph nodes and glands problem such as nasopharynx, stomach, colon, kidney and ovary, prostate, liver health and immune health care herb.
- Another herbs by the name of “Xia Ku Cao” or "Xia Huo Cao" 夏枯草/下火草, Prunella Vulgaris L. herb is the raw herbs.
I had planted in my herbal garden, this raw herb is claimed to cure breast lumps infection or breast cancer or tumor, lumps in the throat, goiter and lymph nodes swelling, hyperthyroidism problems.
When using the raw herb, it can be cooked with meat as herbal soup. The extract of this herb has the powerful exhibiting activity to against herpes simplex. In dried form herb, this usually used as cooling herbal tea by Chinese to drain “fire” or for expelling the heat for chronic heat syndrome.
• Conduct the self-massage like Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage to rid the blocked lymph, light pressure massage to the meridian points to aid lymph flow. As before massage, light dry-brushing to skin help to enable the proper lymphatic drainage flow too, with upwards strokes from the toe to upwards stroke brushing inwards to the heart for the upper body areas. Additional, yoga deep breathing and rebound Exercise with trampoline also help to stimulating and promoting the circulation of the lymph flows and drainage. And I found the best of all by regular bubble bath (water therapy) really help much to improve the lymph flows.
