Anti-cancer and Anti-inflammation Herbs Sabah Snake Grass 优遁草

A few of my friends diagnosed with breast cancer and some even passed away. Yesterday I visited one of my breast cancer friend, seeing her in good complexion and healthier than before. She said she has been using Chinese herbs therapy for cooling after high-dose chemotherapy by stem-cell breast cancer treatment. Therefore, She said clear the heat is the primary concern for those undergoing chemotherapy.

And her consistency and regular intake of some homeopathy natural raw herbs, just to prevent of further spreads of cancer cells to other part of body. She has even planted many medicinal herbs at backyard. And daily intakes of the herbs tea for 2 years regularly really help a lot. 




With the use of natural herbs has given her a relief from the feeling of thirst, coughing, sore throat and relief of chest congestion after the chemotherapy. Also combined with light and simple diets and “Qi” gong exercises, the result is great and she is grateful that with the scientific and alternative homeopathy natural healing way has saved her life and the breast too.

So I tried to cook the herbs tea with rock sugar as “Liang Cha” (herbs tea) to ease the cough.

Herbs planting in our Asia country not only easier to get and we can find most of the useful herbs right here. My herb plants collection in my garden has increases after few years of collection and effort. It is quite handy to me and convenience for me to cook it at any time.

Some common and very useful Anticancer herb plants example like “Black Face General" - Hei Mian Jiang Jin 黑面将军(Strobilanthes Crispus), “Yu Xun Cao” 优遁草, 沙巴蛇草(Sabah Snake Grass, Clincanthus Nutans), “Huo Tan Mu” 火炭母(Smartweed), Qi Xin Chen 七星针 (Pereskia Sacharosa) and it is grown in Malaysia and many other Asia countries as for anti-cancer herb plants.

What is Huo Tan Mu 火炭母 - Polygonum chinense Herba


Scientific name: Polygonum Chinensis Herba

Chinese name: Huo tan mu 火炭母

Huo Tan Mu 火炭母 (Polygonum Chinesis Herba) is one of the herbal use both in Eastern and Western herbalist, this herb does almost everything from “head to toe” and thus is great us to anyone who consumed it. This is also for nourishing the skin, as known by Chinese as good as "Natural Bird Nest". Serve as beauty skin herbal soup to nourishing the lungs.

Medicinal effect for treating of bleeding, treats skin disease, diarrhea, Dysentery, menstrual problems, anti-infections effect and gets rid of the dampness heat and the leaf is edible in raw or cooked form. In china, they cooked with egg in soup as delicious dish.

The whole plants of Huo Tan Mu 火炭母(Polygonum Chinensis Herba) in its application of medicinal usages are anti-inflammatory, astringent, carminative, diaphoretic, styptic, stomachic etc. 

Anti-inflammatory for sore throat, reduce dampness heat and treating skin itchy cause by toxic heat, for swollen and inflamed areas like tonsillitis and treating Diphtheria, tonsillitis can use the " Huo Tan Mu (Polygonum Chinese) fresh leaf about 100grams, squeeze or juicer into fresh juice, mixed with honey, take several times a day for 2 to 4 consecutive days generally.

  • Astringent extract of Huo Tan Mu 火炭母(Polygonum Chinense) to treat diarrhea, hemorrhoids. Cooked the leaves together with egg as herbal soup.

  • English name: Sabah Snake plant, Sabah Snake Grass.

  • Usage: Whole plant as medicinal herb

Yu Xun Cao or Sabah Snake Grass (Clinacanthus Nutans Lindau) has been widely used in Malaysia and other Asia countries to treat uric acid, gout, urinates neuropathies (disease of the kidney), Liver cancer, Kidney syndrome, Nasal cavity cancer and uterine fibroid.








It was quite popular and found in East Malaysia of Sabah, that's why they named it as "Sabah Snake Plant" or "Sabah Snake Grass". 

I planted many types of herbal plants. Especially this Sabah Snake Grass “You Xun Cao” 优遁草, and I like to use of this herb with other herbal plant in preparation of herbal medicinal drink to treats uremia for kidney patient primarily, to reduce of urine toxic by decoction of this herb. 

The slightly stink taste but when mixed with other herbs it can be a very tasteful “Liang Cha” cooling herbs drink. As this herb has “cooling” effect to those with Qi deficiency may need to cook it with Red Dates to improve the blood circulation a boost for better result.

The clinacanthus Nutans or 'Sabah Snake Grass' 优遁草in traditional Chinese medicine usually is concoction into herbal drink with red dates (to improve blood circulation), or adding black soybean to it (for the kidney yin deficiency to boost kidney Qi). Black soybeans increase the medicinal effect of the Sabah Snake Grass in detoxification and energy boost to the kidney meridian functioning. And it is also commonly used for kidney cleanse or detoxifying purpose. 

That’s what I had been doing it for body detoxification at least once or twice a month, taking the Sabah Snake Grass leaves in raw juice for normal maintenance purpose. 

In herbal healing, Chinese name this herbs as "Shen Cao" 肾草that's mean "kidney herb". 

Taking the raw juice like mixing green Apple with Sabah Snake Grass, to blend into medicinal raw juice for treating urinary system syndrome, kidney problem and prostate inflammation has shown effective and great result in healing process. 




Taking raw fresh leaves maybe hard to chew, so as to make it as tasty raw fruit juice drink may help.  Simply cooking into concoction herb drink depending on individual's body health condition.

I found the efficacy of treating of skin eczema, psoriasis, and shingles seemed quite effective with Sabah Snake Grass + "Huo Tan Mu” or Polygonum Chinese and mixed with ‘Bai He Ling Zhi’ (white crane grass), 白鹤灵芝, Scientific name: Rhinacanthus nasutus (L.) kurz
herbs. Lately I used these herbs to treat a few patients with psoriasis and scabies problem. The skin infection and spots reduces within a month.
Method and Preparation: 

For Internal application: 

  • “Sabah Snake Grass” Clinacanthus Nutans mix with "Huo Tan Mu” or Polygonum Chinese as decoction herbal drink. 
  • And taking pure fresh juice of  “Sabah Snake Grass” Clinacanthus Nutans fresh leaves blend with green apple in the morning for detoxifying. 

Doses to use: Daily intakes of 1-2 glasses of herbal drink.Serious case may increase the doses to 3 glasses a day.

For external usage:


I used of another herb by the name of “Bai He Ling Zhi’ (white crane grass), 白鹤灵芝Rhinacanthus nasutus, Dainty spurs, extract the fresh leaves and apply to scabies spots or infected areas. 

Herbal Bath:
Apply once or twice a day, or cook this herb plant with its stems, Strain the herbal liquid from the decoction and place in the bathtub, immerse the whole body in the herbal bath (at the body temperature) for at least 20-30 minutes. 






Other than this, from my experiences and personally used for the lymph and skin problem many years back. 

This 'Sabah Snake Grass' or Clinacanthus Nutans fresh juice extract not only can be mix and blending into fresh juice with green apple; alternatively combine Sabah Snake Grass with burdock and carrot pure juice for treating lymphatic problem and purifying blood. This really improves my sensitive skin and lymph nodes problem.


What is Hei Mian Jiang Jin (Black Face General) Strobilanthes Crispus



Usually herbs like “Black Face General” or Hei Mian Jiang Jin", its scientific name as Strobilanthes Crispus is the primary herbs used in Chinese herbalist for "Anti-cancer".

Which has been also used in Chinese traditional herbs as diuretic, laxative to eliminate kidney stone and anti-diabetic. 

This herb has been proven scientifically to posses high antioxidant active agents and anti-microbe, anti-AIDS and anticancer properties for treatment like fibroid, carcinoma of cervix, and vesical calculi - bladder stones. In Indonesia, they usually used it for treating snake bites, and bladder stones. 






The fresh leaves can be used alone or combined with other herbs plant like Sabah Snake Grass, Clinacanthus Nutans  is to consume in the form of fresh juice, Or cooking it as herbal tea in decoction herb drink, cook with water for at least 3 to 4 hours, its nature is cooling, which can also add red dates. 


In general this herb "BlackFace General", Strobilanthes Crispus is used to treat the breast and uterine cancer. And also its shown good result to certain cancer cases.

I found an article about Strobilanthes Crispus or "Hei Mian Jiang Jun" saying that this herbs is not only good for anti-cancer as well used to treat snake bites.




What is Gou Jiang Teng 过江藤 – Phyla Nordiflora L. Greene

Scientific Name: Phyla Nordiflora Linnaeus Greene
Taste: bitter
Nature: cool

The juice of the Gou Jiang Teng (Phyla Nordiflora L. Greene) is bitter in taste. It is common weed, also an ornamental plant. 

It is used as medicinal herbs in Malaysia for treating and curing of diabetes foot (the lower limb fester) which caused by diabetes. The effect is also ideal in alternative natural herbal healing. 




Also it treats help in reduce and lower blood sugar, to relieve fevers, coughs and colds, Acute amygdalitis (tonsil infection), skin disease, eczema, herpes, dysentery, menstrual disorder and injury from fractures. This herb can be used in internal and external application.

Mulberry Leaf 桑叶

Mulberry leaf or whole plant is used in medicinal as to nourish the lungs and clear liver heat. 

Its meridian channel: to Lung and Liver.
As this herb plant is used to make into juice as is broadly similar to wheatgrass. It makes a great food to cook with egg, as well as beverage to consume for good health for liver cleanse. 
I had mentioned in my previous blog to use it for infusions or decoction for treating cough, sore throat, and late night person to clean liver heat.

This leaf invigorates the lungs.The whole plant of mulberry has powerful medicinal properties in treating many ailments. Commonly in treating high blood pressure, lower blood sugar, fatty liver, anti-inflammatory, treating night sweat to pre-menopause, clear lungs damp-heat, for liver detoxification and improve eyesight vision.  

The root of Mulberry can use as herbal soup for Dispels rheumatism and ease joint pain.

There are many different types of cancers in vary form of treating each with herbal plants. And there are many hundreds of medicinal herbs may help in control of certain cancerous illnesses, usually it grown in temperate climate and they are edible, and useful as yet undiscovered. Mug beans 200grams

• Licorice 50grams

• 1000cc of water


Method:

Good Health Anti Cancer Ling Jiao ~ Trapa Bicornis


Usually during month of October and November. Trapa Bicornis (Ling Jiao) can be found in most of the market. The uniform in structure and shape looks like a bull’s horn, black in color, hard-shell and like a bat ~ We called it “Ling Jiao”, because its contour has the “the angle”, in Chinese called as “Jiao”


What is Trapa bicornis


  • Scientific name: Trapa Bicornis ~
  • Also known as water caltrop, Jesuit nut, Ram Horn Nut, horned water chestnut, 
  • in Chinese name: Ling Jiao
  • Cantonese name it as “Ling Kok”, 
  • in Latin: Trapa bicornis. 
And it is like other aquatic plants.


Trapa Bicornis, Ram Horn Nut or Ling Jiao
is plant grows in water with the leaves float on the water, and the fruits droop in the water. It can be cultivated as floating plants in aquarium, or in ponds. In slightly acidic water and gives full sun. Found in still and slow-moving water systems in warm temperate regions, its centre of origin is china, Taiwan and is used for food and medicinal plant or nut. Ling Jiao is a seasonal food in Taiwan for Mid-Autumn Festival Called “Water Caltrops Festival”. 

 

Taiwan is the largest producer of Ling Jiao ~ water caltrops. The nut harvesting begins in from July and continues through fall, peaking around September and October.  

Ling Jiao or Water Caltrop is primary growth in Europe and Asia. It grows in the pond, the river moors in the warm climate wet muddy land. This water plant growing from seeding, blossoms and bears fruit, only needs 90 to 120 days. And the harvest period to recovering time for next harvest is about 10 to 15 days, continuously harvest for 7 – 8 times in a harvest session up to 4 months.

 












Its Nutrients and healing effect

This raw nut, rich in carbohydrate and fat, protein, glucose,
multivitamins, like Vitamin B1, B2, C, Calcium, Phosphorus and Iron. Its nutritional value may with other nuts set-off. The flesh of this nut is thick and rich nutty taste. Nature is cool, commonly use to allaying fever, quenches thirst, sobers up, detoxification and awake the brain, good for spleen, and may prevent and treat the chronic diarrhea. Ingredients:


  • 200g Ling Jiao (removed hard-shelled),
  • 30g of Barley,
  • Water 1500cc

Method of cooking:

1. Wash and brush Ling Jiao with running water thoroughly,
soak in salt water for ½ hour. Use the Ling Jiao with hard shell to cook with water.

2. After boiling for 20 minutes, remove the hard shell, use only the flesh and add in barley, Cook it for 1 hour. Boil it like soup or porridge. Add in rock sugar (optional).

3. Remove from heat and serve warm.

Benefits: It can strengthen the vision, also has certain inhibitory action to the cancer cell.



Recipe to Treat Excessive blood flows during M
enstrual period

Ling Jiao brown sugar soup

Ingredients:


  • Ling jiao 250g
  • Brown sugar 3 tbs.
  • 1000cc water

Method:

1. Cleans and brush the Ling Jiao thoroughly, soak in salt water for ½ hour.

2. Bring water to boil, after boiling, put in Ling jiao to boil in low heat for 1 hour or till it is soften.

3. Add in brown sugar till dissolve. Remove from heat.

4. Eat the nuts and drink the soup.

Healing effect: Calms the nerves, control excessive flows of Menstruation blood.


Note: The brown sugar is named as “black sugar” and has rich glucose as well as vitamin and mineral substance.

In Chinese medicinal thought that black sugar is temperate, can be blood tonic profits for blood stagnation, and invigorate the spleen, stomach and Qi.
















For treating Stomach and Gastric Ulcer


Simply cook the 120g of whole Ling Jiao with hard-shell in 1000cc of water. Boil in water for half hour.

Drink 1 cup of soup 3 times a day after three meals for one month.

Add sugar to this drink, it quenches thirst and ease
bothersome thirsty.



Note:
Do not throw away the hard shell, as it is good medicine for treating
gastric hemorrhage patient. Boil the hard shell with water and take it as tea.












Red Dates Goji Ling Jiao Soup




Ingredients:



  • Ling Jiao (remove hard-shell) 50g
  • Red Dates 10g
  • Wolfberry (Goji) 10g
  • 2 Lemon slice
  • Water 1500 cc



Method:

1. Put water in pot to boil, add in all ingredients to boil in low heat for 1 hour.

2. Remove from heat. eat all the ingredients and soup. Sever warm.

  1. Benefits: This soup has anticancer treatment effect, clear vision, make up the vitality, as the spleen host transports and controls the blood, the main muscle and four limbs, it benefits spleen then nutritious the whole body circulation function.




Ling Jiao
Radix Astragali (Wang Qi) Soup

This soup has invigorates the kidney function, may treat the sychnuria and urination disorder, the wet dream, leucorrhea like whitish vaginal discharge.

Ingredients:


  • Ling Jiao (Water Caltrop) 200g
  • Radix Astragali (Wang Qi) 15g
  • Water 1500cc

Radix Astragali (Wang Qi) in Chinese medicinal effect is to restores vital energy, improve blood circulation, regular intake can strengthen the curative effect mutually.

4. Put the hard shell and flesh back to the pot.
Put in Radix Astragali herb and cook for another 1/2 hour.

5.
Remove from heat, remove Radix Astragali and hard shell from the pot.

6. Serve warm. Eat the nuts and soup only.

The harmful side effect of taking raw with caution

Ling Jiao or Water Caltrop is nutritious and delicious food, cook them in the shell or peel them first. It needs to steam, boil, roasted or fried them before you can eat them, as it contains harmful toxins and harmful parasite in raw state, which can be vectors for trematodes of significance are intestinal fluke and liver fluke.

When eating them in raw try not to bites open the hard shell with your teeth, make sure you wash it with running water first, it is best to use nut opener or smashed to remove the hard shell and clean thoroughly with water again. Those water vegetables need to be carefully peeled and washed, always clean in running water and brush thoroughly then soak them in salt water to eliminate toxins. For the best is to neutralize it by heat or cooking it.

Ling Jioa or Water Caltrop contains toxins in raw which must be destroyed by boiling to render them safe to eat. Usually after removing the hard shell, make sure the fruit pulp or flesh must also flush again with water thoroughly. Otherwise, it is easy infected by harmful parasite.

Due to it grows in the ponds or contaminated water, like those water plant e.g water chestnut, water lotus, water lily and Water caltrop - Ling jiao as well, may be contaminated with tiny organism parasite, as the outer layer of its hard shell easy affected by numerous trematodes parasites, taking raw with unwashed Ling Jiao - Water Caltrop or any water plants may consumed infective parasite that transmitted to human body, trematodes causes disease to gastrointestinal
like intestinal fluke that infection usually asymptomatic with malnutrition, the influence growth become emaciated may cause anemia, or anorexia.

This parasite itself has strong absorptivity attraction which adsorption firmly on human intestines wall, cause intestines mucous membrane inflammation, dropsy even forms ulcer. If one discovered that abdominal pain disgustingly with vomiting and diarrhea, bowel movement with foul-smelling, loose stools, unfortunately you may be affected by the harmful parasite from the hard shell of Ling Jiao or Water Caltrop. Therefore, take precaution when eating raw or unwashed Ling Jiao or Water Caltrop with proper preparation in cleansing and cooking it with hygienic way.



Caution:


When taking Ling Jiao ~ Water Caltrop what need to remind that is has clearing heat and detoxification effect, in order to avoid causes distension of the abdomen do not over consumption with it.

For diabetic people, it is prohibited to over ingestion due to starch content is high, which may causes the instantaneous blood sugar to elevate and raised rapidly, the diabetic patient should take the right amount ingestion this nut and avoid taking excessively.

But the Chinese medicine theory believed that human internal organs are well distributed thus the vitality is exuberant, healthy skin is surely bright and clean, ruddy, in harmony of physique and preserve healthy body. Normally use of herb, tea, plant, foods and drinks, to promote healthy functioning of human body is for prevention and alternative healing purposes.

Here’s what I give myself a royalty treat with "Gui Hua cha", "Gui Hua Gou". Gui Hua also known as Sweet Osmanthus flower.

According to legend, one of the famous dessert or snack for the Qing Dynasty Emperors, cakes made from Gui hua, called “Gui Hua Gao”, making into syrup, cooking with soup. Gui Hua making into desserts, soup, tea or dishes was used by the Qing Dynasty in alternative healing, to stimulate the stomach, kidneys, and appetite; reduce cough and phlegm, reduce internal heat and nourish the body, to prolong the Emperor’s life.

Now in modern day, it has been well-known as famous dessert in Hong Kong, Taiwan and in Chinese dietetic culture. It has invented with a great variety of tea, beverage, foods, dessert in styles and cooked in many ways.


Normally this flora tea is widely used in for refreshing and relaxation, anti-inflammation, with mild stimulant and soothing effect. I like this flavorful scented Gui Hua, known as Osmanthus flowers is a sweet-scented flora tea which can made into healthy, delicious and wonderful desserts, tea, beverage and soup. Other than health and beauty, amazingly it is also a great mouth odor naturally refreshing tea by using Gui Hua Tea (Osmanthus fragrans) and Gou Lin Gou (Tortle Jelly).

Bad breath sometimes really affected the total image in personal grooming, social life and uncomfortable thought when talking to others. To say the lease, Keeping away from mouth odors and bad breath in refreshing condition, we may use of chewing gum, mouth freshener, or herbal toothpaste to ease and maintaining bad breathe. Still some of the bad breath problems maybe from the tooth decay, gum disease, after eaten of certain foods, indigestion problems e.g digestive tract functioning is poor may cause by “heat” in the liver and stomach may link to bad breath, or cause by certain mouth, nose and throat diseases like tonsillitis, and sinusitis. Thus using the right flora tea making into herbal tea, snack, dessert and foods were very effective in building health through diet. Gui Hua tea also produces sweet scented also good for headache and calming effect.

This traditional tea combination is usually brewing and drunk by women for enhance the beauty of the skin in ancient time even now and then.



Gui Hua (Osmanthus flora) + Oolong Tea


Sweet-scented Gui Hua infused with Oolong tea is commonly my cup of tea. Gui Hua added with Oolong Tea makes the good basement flower progress; we can also buy the ready mixed Gui Hua Oolong Cha/Tea in China.

It’s an excellent mouth odors alternative herbal tea. Helps to purifying skin tone, for people who likes to be slim, treats toothache, reduces of phlegm, relieve sore throat, promote saliva and body fluids, revitalize and nourishing kidney to treat “Yin” deficiency, and detoxify toxin in the body.


Porcelain teapot should be used for brew Osmanthus Oolong tea, it said always use porcelain teapot for Chinese tea or Green tea, but I prefer to brew in my so-called cute Mineral green teapot for few minutes, and then pour it into my infuser that’s much easier to pour out the tea without the tea leaves and flora.



Making your own Gui Hua Syrup


Use of Gui hua added with honey, maltose cooked into syrup or sauce to add sweetness & fragrance to various dessert, cakes, beverage and "gui hua" sauce in red bean porridge.

Ingredients:

• 4 tbs. Dried Gui Hua

• Maltose syrup 1/2 cup

• Honey 1/2 cup

• Water 1/2 cup

• Little bit of salt


Method:


  1. Use Dried Gui Hua, wash and drain the water. Ready for use.
  2. Put in maltose and honey and water in cooking pot.
  3. Measure maltose/honey and water into a 2:1 ratio and bring to a boil.
  4. Low heat cook the maltose, Honey and Gui Hua flower until syrup thickens turns a dark golden color.
  5. Add in little bit of salt. (Optional)
  6. Pour into a clean glass jar.

This is Sweet Scented "Gui Hua syrup". Or "Osmanthus Flora sauce"











  • It can be taken with any Chinese dessert such as Gui Lig Gao (Herbal Turtle Jelly)

  • mix 1 tbs of Gui Hua syrup with water, it soothes the throat and relieve of phlegm.










Gui Hua Gao
(Sweet Osmanthus Dessert)

Retreat myself with "Gui Hua Gao", what a wonderful thing and it is so refreshing! We are lucky now in this modern century,
as in ancient time, Gui Hua Gao is the desserts and food for the Emperors only.


Ingredients:

  • 3 tbs. Gui hua
  • 1 tbs. Wolfberry
  • 1 bowl of Eucheuma Seaweed
  • 6 Red dates
  • 2 tbs. Rock Sugar

Method:

1. Pour hot water into osmanthus (Gui Hua) in infuser or pot, simmer for 3 – 5 minutes.


2. Wash and soak wolfberry, red dates until soft, cut into smaller slices.




3. Blend Eucheuma Seaweed , set aside ready for use.










4. Remove the gui hua flora (do not throw away, need it to add in Jelly later),


5. Use the gui hua water, bring the water to boil, add in goji (Wolfberry), red dates and rock sugar to cook for 5 - 10 minutes.









6. Add in Eucheuma Seaweed, cook till totally dissolve.








7. Add in little bit of Gui Hua flora, stir well and serve hot or cold.

8. Pour in Jelly mould and let it set. Keep in refrigerator.


When hot, serve like bird nest soup.

Gui Lin Gou
~ Turtle Jelly

Gui Lin Gou (Herbal turtle Jelly)is well known by most Chinese and among many household today. It has medication effect and quite common use to reduce of toxins, treat boils and skin problems. The treatment principle is to cool the blood and clear the heat, It is highly recommended to be consumed on a regular basic for detoxify the accumulated heat toxins in the human body. Due to its low fat, low cholesterol and low calorie in nature, it helps in adjusting blood sugar and blood fats. For those sleep late and fatigue physique body, this help in reducing the liver heat, damp heat and so on.

Gou Lin Gao (Herbal Turtle Jelly) ~ herbal dessert is concocted by the Qing Dynasty in ancient years ago as well. It’s tasteless with slightly bitterness in taste. When "Guo Lin Gao" added "Gui Hua Syrup" due to its aromatic scented flavor to sweeten the bitter "Gui Lin Gao" and also to enhance the medicinal effect. Gui Lin Gao is very cooling herbal dessert. It is not advisable for pregnant women to take it excessively.

I am not going to show how to make "Gou Lin gou" here anyway, as it is quite easy to do it yourself, buy a packet of "powder Gui Lin Gao" from most Chinese medicine store. Method to do is simple, just simply dilute the powder "Gou Lin Gou" with water, check the label instructions accordingly to add water quantity, mix well in paste form, bring to boil or pour in hot boiling water and stir it till thicken paste and let it set in container to become a jelly form. That's it.


I used ready made Gui Lin Gou to prepare this herbal dessert with my new implemented formula. By using Eucheuma Seaweed, Gou Lin Gao and Gui Hua extract and syrup to make this cooling and rejuvenating herbal flora dessert. Using of Eucheuma Seaweed instead of using Agar-agar, Eucheuma Seaweed gives me the effect of like taking collagen or bird nest, anyway it is "Sea bird nest", Eucheuma seaweed is to nourish “yin” in skin deep for anti-aging, detoxifies toxin, it works wonderful with "Gou Lin Gao" by adding "Gui Hui syrup" scent gives mind calming and soothing effect.


Senz’s delight dessert ~ Gui Hua Gui Lin Gou Eucheuma Seaweed Jelly

Ingredients:

3 tbs. Gui hua (Osmanthus flora)
• 1 bowl of Eucheuma Seaweed (blended)

• 1 tbs. Goji (wolfberry)

• 6 Red dates

• 2 tbs. Rock Sugar



Method:


1. Pour hot water into osmanthus (Gui Hua) in infuser or pot, simmer for 3 – 5 minutes.


2. Remove the gui hua flora (do not throw away, need it to add in Jelly later).

3. Wash and soak wolfberry, red dates until soft, cut into smaller slices.




4. Blend Eucheuma Seaweed , set aside ready for use.

6. Add in Eucheuma seaweed. Cook till the Eucheuma seaweed totally dissolved. Add in Gui Hua and stir well.

7. Pour in Jelly mould and add gui hua on top of the Jelly. Let it set and keep in refrigerator and serve cold.


Look at this...lets enjoying the luxurious indulgence with this sweet and bitter scented flavor dessert. It is such a refreshing and beautiful combination and formulated for beauty and reduce heat in the liver and stomach.


Sweet-scented osmanthus flower, Gou Lin Gou with Eucheuma Seaweed has has the curative effect for hoarsely voice and sore throat, also for the beneficial stomach to ease the digestive problems, great detoxification flora seaweed Jelly, helps in improving skin problems such as pimples and acne, it improves constipation, the aromatic scented relieve and beneficial delicacy sweets in calming.
